When God Puts peace in your heart

Today, something happened at work that made my heart harden and troubled my mind and spirit. I prayed and asked God to put peace in my heart. After a while that is just what happened but deep inside of my spirit I still wanted to be bitter. It's something when the flesh wants to take over. Even when we feel at ease we still want to be bitter towards others or the situation at hand. Later, the situation was resolved and I was actually on the positive end of the situation I was facing, or so I thought I was facing. Praise God!
